Develop annual business plans identifying key activities and priorities; set and manage performance targets and operational budgets.  Oversee sourcing research and analysis, manage buyer and purchasing activities; oversee activities related to supplier selection and approvals; ensure Approved Supplier List (ASL) is maintained.  Facilitate supplier management meetings, including market updates, current supplier capacity review, action item management.  Establish business relationships, perform supplier qualification and selection as needed; actively work with materials management on supplier issues and escalations.  Oversee materials management, scheduling, and inventory control.  Interview, hire, and train departmental staff; plan, assign, direct the work; performance management.  Continually investigate and introduce process improvement measures and present suggestions to CEO for consideration.  Develop and maintain relationships with all vendors; participate in formulating and administering company policies and developing long range goals and objectives.
